Spotlight #3 — Rel Pham

Vivid colours clash with muddy tones and brooding characters stand opposed to light-hearted cartoon icons as Rel Pham narrates a tale of dark fantasy.

Known on the street as TERHOR and to the rest of us as, Rel Pham, the Sydney-raised now Melbourne-based artist is a quiet maestro of his craft. A trip through his website will reveal a barrage of loud and aggressive works that demand attention. A closer look will reveal a refined eye for colour, a true knowledge of light and years of video-game influences. Coming off the back of being the 2017 Muralogy winner, Rel has plans for solo in Melbourne and with a long list of past exhibitions throughout Australia, it's sure to not disappoint.
