Ariel Slamet Ries is an award-winning comic artist from Melbourne, Australia (on the traditional lands of the Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation). They studied animation for 4 years before throwing away the prestige and money to pursue comics. Their first two major print releases, Witchy Vol. 1 and CRY WOLF GIRL, were released in 2019.
