Rani Pramesti leads cross-cultural teams to create transformative storytelling experiences. Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, under the Soeharto dictatorship, Rani has made Kulin country her home. With a passion for building bridges across Indonesia and Australia, her work is nestled at the intersection of social justice, creative technology, and storytelling.
Cindy Saja is a Jakarta-based illustrator who has worked on socially-conscious illustration projects such as ‘40 Green Tops’ (Jakarta post) and Butet Manurung’s ‘Jungle School’. Cindy has lectured in illustration at the Jakarta Insitute of Arts (Institut Kesenian Jakarta). In 2018, Cindy was the illustrator for chinesewhispers.com by Rani P Collaborations, which saw her tour to Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, as well as the Makassar International Writers Festival. In 2019, Chinese Whispers has been screened at Oakland Asian Cultural Centre (San Francisco), Singapore Writers Festival, and Due West Festival (Melbourne).
