Meg O'Shea is an Ignatz Award-nominated comic artist who makes largely autobiographical work concerning her identity as a Korean adoptee, as well as adoption-related issues.
She has created work for the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Going Down Swinging, LIMINAL Magazine, The Nib, and The Lifted Brow, and has featured in comic anthologies including Drawing Power: Women's Stories of Sexual Violence, Harassment and Survival, which last year won an Eisner Award.
She has spent the past two years in Korea undertaking research for a long format comic project, before returning to Australia this year.
